Last won there in the Prem when Carlos scored the winner? With them well below their usual standards, there might not be a better time to fix that, but will take a herculean performance against them & the officials.

Yes, we haven’t won in the League there since 2007. And Moyes has never ever won a League game there as a visiting manager.

Records are there to be broken. :newthumb:

They really are not a team to fear anymore. If Moyes goes for it and doesn’t take the cautious approach, we will win.
I would go with the following team if available.

Areola
Fredericks, Dawson, Zouma, Cresswell
Rice, Soucek
Bowen, Lanzini, Fornals
Antonio

Subs: Fabianski, Johnson, Coufal, Vlasic, Kral, Yarmolenko, Noble, Perkins, Masuaku.

I think we may well get something here.

I just hope we're a bit smarter in possession. if we're intent on giving the ball back to them at every opportunity then we won't get anything.

Ronaldo will be desperate for a penalty.

Time for some overdue changes at the back. For me I’d go with…..

——————————-———-Areola————————————-

-Fredericks——Dawson-Zouma-Cresswell—-Johnson-

———————————Rice————-Soucek—————————

-Bowen—————————Antonio————————Fornals

Subs: Fabianski, Coufal, Masuaku, Diop, Coventry, Lanzini, Vlasic, Okoflex, Perkins.

If Zouma still isn’t ready then begrudgingly we’ll have to play Diop. I don’t know if Noble will be fit for this. If he is stick him on the bench instead of Coventry. Let’s not bother wasting a space on the bench for Kral. If we have no intention of ever bringing him on just leave him at home.

We hardly ever get anything at OT regardless of their team. Another loss or a point if we're lucky.

Fancy us with this one as were playing away from home.

If it was at the bowl i'd be much more pessimistic.

Zouma in for Diop
Soucek in for Fornals/Vlasic

are the two changes id make

Given the performance yesterday a part of me really thinks we're going to get a win here to put us all back into belief mode again. Zouma and Soucek coming back would be huge.

It's not on tele, is it? Otherwise sky would have had Souness, Redknapp and some former Manc knobber like Keane slathering on about Rice going to "Yanited", with Gary Neville then on commentary slathering on further about Rice going to "Yanited".

I hope he scores and then runs to the Stretford End and gives it the biggun. Cupped ears, the lot. And does Lingard's celebration, whateer that thing is he does with his hands.
