EL Last 16
I am currently looking into flights etc for the last 16 game. With first leg on 10 March and second on 17 March, and with the draw only being made on 25 February, does anyone have any idea when tickets for the home leg will be available to Claret Members?
Also, given the importance of this game, do you envisage any difficulties in Claret Members getting a ticket? Not really that worried where in the bowl it would be - just want to be there!!

Re: EL Last 16
I think there will be a lot of competition for seats anyway but it will all depend on who we draw.
Say it is Barcelona, I can see it being very difficult for those that do not have a season ticket.
I doubt tickets will go on sale until we know who we are playing.

I'd be staggered if you couldn't get a match ticket mate

Re: EL Last 16
Is this really in March? Seems long a heck of a long time since we last played in Europe until the last 16 round - I guess it's odd because of the little mid-round of ex-CL clubs playing 2nd placed clubs in the group round.

Re: EL Last 16
How can you justify selling tickets when you don’t know who the opposition will be? I’m at the Cheltenham festival so it’s going to be a balls ache getting back to Stratford and then returning to Cheltenham. If it was one of the poorer teams we was drawn against I wasn’t going to bother (glory hunter
),now it appears I don’t have a choice.

Re: EL Last 16
How do they know we will play the home leg at second? i.e. the 17th and not the 10th?
Is that because we topped the group?
Also, £65 for Band 1, a game in midweek that will be televised.
Blimey

You have to go to the top right hand side of the ticket homepage screen and click the little person icon.
You should see that you have 1 notification for a reserved ticket. click that link and you will have the option to buy your Europa Ticket.

Doesn’t seem that you can pay by club cash which is also useful.

Re: EL Last 16
Every single time they’re presented with an open goal, they do their very best to miss it.
They could’ve said something like “thank you for your outrageously fantastic support, cheapest ticket is £10, please lay off us for a while.”
Irritating.

They didn’t fill the stadium for the last legs, if we draw Sherrif, Red Star, Spartak or the likes I cannot see them filling the ground at those outrageous prices.
I’m certainly not stumping up money before the draw has been made.
I think the club have shot themselves in the foot, once again.

I think they probably still will tbh.steps wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 3:50 pmI disagree.

The problem with the group stage was that it was too easy, the quality of opposition meant the atmosphere was fairly flat as everyone just expected to win and knew we was going to qualify.
A knock-out round will be very different unless we get one of the easier draws and smash them in the away fixtures, but that's pretty unlikely at this stage of the competition.
