I read before that the Harrier’ manager was taking advice from his dad about getting a good bottle of red to share with Moyes.

In that drawer on his desk is a bottle of claret and he gave out the cheap Yank beer instead.

The whole game was a great story and my fave of the season to date. They missed a trick not getting their players over to our end to take the applause.

A few other prem teams struggled as well. Some never made it. That is the nature of this competition. It is one game, winner goes through.
Thanks for the explainer.

He said that in his BBC diary. Obviously Moyes didn't want none of that fancy muck. :crossed:

Matt Preston's perfectly square head, was one of the highlights of the game, for me personally.

We had a couple of fairly good chances to score, long before we did, Benrahma worked a good opening but half scuffed his effort and tried to squeeze it in at the near post, when shooting across the keeper, or curling into the far corner, was more ikely to have produced a goal and another good move down the right, the ball beaten out by the keeper, but we were too slow to react to the re-bound and the chance lost
