Re: 2022 Six Nations
I nodded off early into the second half with score the same as the match finished. Did I miss anything?

Re: 2022 Six Nations
Watching the Italy game, should the referee be telling players how to stay onside? He's reffing well, but he's constantly shouting "Stop!" after a kick from hand until the kicker has run past them. I feel it's down to the players themselves to know the rules and the referee to apply them.
As Nigel Owens (I think) said, "I'm a referee not a coach."

Respect to Italy. They looked like a decent, confident team for large parts of that match. Last try was a cracker.

Re: 2022 Six Nations
Missed Italy vs Scotland.
Just sat down with a green tea, and looking forward to England vs Ireland. Promises to be a good contest, and both teams will be looking to measure their progress in this match.
Both teams will absolutely want to win this for more than one reason, and personally I want to see both teams at the top of their game. Obviously, being English, I want England to win...but as long as our performance has improved I can handle a close loss.
Ireland are a very, very good team... they're the favourites for a reason. It all depends which team manages to 'click'...and that could be either!!!

Re: 2022 Six Nations
Our number 5 on Irelands number 5...ouch.
Red card probably the correct decision...poor technique in the tackle.
French ref though...

First try to Ireland. We're going to be short of numbers whichever flank they attack on...and they are going to be exploiting that all afternoon.
This is gonna be a long 80 mins...

That was a clear knock on right under the refs nose, no idea why it took it to go to TMO.

We are taking them apart in the scrum!
Keep winning in that area, keep collecting penalties from lineouts and we might have a sniff.

Missing this one, stuck in my cave, working, like I do every ****ing weekend these days. Just checked the BBC news feed, sounds like I’m not missing much…

Re: 2022 Six Nations
It's a scrappy game spoiled by a ref who wants to be on telly as much as possible. After sending off Ewels within two minutes he's spent the rest of the game trying to make up for it. As I type Ireland have scored and Sexton has converted.
