I could be wrong but if you are referring to Raul Jiminez I think he wears the headband for protection because he cracked his skull with Willian playing Farse last year. The injury nearly cost him his career and if I'm not mistakent they thought at the time it happened he might not wake up.

Moyesy out tackticked them…
The discipline of Fornals and Bowen out of position was crucial. Closed down the space so many times.
Wolves possession was often meaningless.

Zouma and Rice were the standouts today and the rest were really good. I thought we played very well first half and battled well in the second.

You could actually hear Moyes screaming at them to press from the sidelines.'stone hammer wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 4:36 pm 100%. I think I counted 5 times in the first half where our pressing from the front either led to an interception or them hoofing it and us winning it back. Shame we don't do it more, but you could see how knackered Antonio was when he came off.

Absolute credit goes to Moyes, he had Fornals playing LWB, Soucek darting in the box and Antonio/Bowen interchanging. An absolute masterclass

Very proud of the team and management today. Light years away from the dross we played against Watford and Newcastle.
Antonio was both amazing and infuriating in equal measure. Great work for the goal but some of his other decision making was despreate.
Rice and Zouma immense. They targetted Fab with the ball at his feet and he responded excellently.

One minor gripe, I’d like to have seen Vlasic a bit earlier. I don’t believe that he would have offered less than Antonio in the last fifteen minutes.
Not to be too harsh on the latter because he put in a huge shift, but he was responsible for some terrible turnovers towards the end.

I thought Antonio was brilliant today. The goals will come soon enough if he plays like that.

Did well today He was knackered by around the 75th minute mark and should of been subbed then, but in fairness it took ages for the ball to go out of play in order to make the sub.
A massive three points today and that’s the best we’ve played in a while. Good to see some of the players that have been a bit off it lately get a bit of form back,

In this case will 7th place qualify for the Europa League or Conference? I thought whoever finishes 7th gets Conference League?Bubbles Fortuna wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 5:22 pm If the FA Cup is won by someone in the top 6 then the 7th placed team will qualify for Europe.

The game and our performance wasn’t really that too dissimilar to our home win against this lot last season. The only difference was we were more ruthless in front of goal last season.
Wolves will be praying they don’t lose Jimenez to a long term injury. They have nothing to offer in attack without him.

Massively improved performance. We’ll done everyone, was convinced we’d lose today. Special mention for Fornals who was the ultimate team player today. Zouma was my motm.
Hope they’ve got some energy left for Wednesday.

I reckon that was the best we have played since before Christmas. The best atmosphere, for a while, too.
It's hard to pick a MOTM but either Fornals or Zouma for me. Although Lanzini was mustard and Antonio looked almost back to his old self.
A few more performances like that and top 6 is ours.

Interesting you say that because on Sky it was absolutely dead, you could hear phones, things creaking and (I’m sure) birds singing at one point.
The effects team must have been at Wembley .
