The situation at Chelsea is very weird. Is Tuchel signing off on these targets?

The owner is probably expecting to swap a few in exchange for a higher pick in the college 'draft'.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Chelsea finish 4th in the London league table this year.

I doubt it. He's just the head coach there. It seems that the new regime are going to destroy a lot of what Abramovic put in place. What a shame

Is that it?Ironing Board wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 5:18 pm
Obviously it's a highlights reel, but he shows some great skills here. If Moyes and Warburton do decide he should come here he would be an outstanding option.
A showreel of nothingness. No goals, no assists just some twisty-turny nothingness for 3 and a half minutes. If that was supposed to showcase his talents then I think it served to do the opposite. Hold on, I'll try and see if I can source a Declan Rice one to compare and contrast just for shits and giggles the gulf in quality...

Also the new loan rules come in this year… only 8 out on loan falling to 7 then 6 eventually.
Suddenly the financials to putting lots of money into a youth programme don’t look so good For a club like Chelsea.
We have a good chance for top 6 again if we get the right transfers.

Dunno why people are obsessed with comparing Rice and Gilmour. For one thing, all I said was Gilmour has the potential to be an even better player than Rice. Whether ever will be remains to be seen. Many players never come close to fulfilling their potential. Just look at Jesse Lingard.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.
I've no idea where people keep getting false impressions of our budget from? Seems to happen every single window now.
We are NOT spending anywhere near 90m. Nobody is going to pay us good money for masuaka, vlasic or diop. We'd be lucky to raise 20m off that lot. I suspect we wont even be able to move all 3 of them on.

Does anyone think we will actually move Vlasic on? I still think he has a lot of potential and he has been included in the squad list. I could see the other two moving, but only if we get offers.

I think we should get around double that for those 3.Bristoliron338 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 5:46 pm I've no idea where people keep getting false impressions of our budget from? Seems to happen every single window now.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.
We will spend near £90m. I would be shocked if we dont. We're on close to £40m now and have seen links to bids of £30m+ on forward options and around £15m was it for Malacia?

I think that is the minimum we will spend, to be honest. Squad needs serious investment. It's not like Moyes has been frittering his budgets.

As he's only 5'3 I would say that's a definite. They need to be at least 6'0.Bristoliron338 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 5:48 pm Billy ***ing gilmore? Cmon guys surely we can aim higher
