Yarmolenko only played 304 minutes and scored 1 goal, winning us 3 points. How can he possibly be one of the worst 11 premier league players last season?

If there was one player I’d love to prise away from another prem team it’s Olise at Palace. Probably the most enjoyable player to watch outside the top 8. Has some overlap with Ward-Prowse’s skill set too.

I've been banging the JWP drum for months, but he's not better than Pablo.

He is, however, a great fit for us. Can play in a two, can play at 10, probably best fit as an 8. Would be a massive upgrade on Lanzini in our team.

Don't think JWP would work in that role. He plays a more traditional CM role. Starting play from a deeper position. He would struggle in the more forward position where the space is more limited.

I wax a bit surprised to see him in there too, but it was apparently down to his lack.lustre displays when did get on the pitch. Ben Foster was the GK in that team and I wouldn't argue with that. Only 4 clean sheets all season Jadon Sancho also made the team

This is my masterplan...

Admittedly I haven't looked too much into the right wing-back position

Depending how we play I could see Ward-Prowse having a lot of luck in a Beckham role whipping in crosses.

I personally think JWP is better than Fornals.

It’s crazy how often he gives the ball away, especially for a Spaniard!

Others are right, JWP isn't going to sign for us. He'd cost over 65m.

Every Saints fan I spoke to says the same (actually they said 75+). Similar situation to Rice, won't sell, no need to sell, player doesn't want to leave.

So best to ignore those bull**** rumours and reports. Unless something drastic has changed behind the scenes at Saints. Which again, from Saints fans, it hasn't.

I’m not claiming to be ‘in the know’ , a Leicester supporting friend of mine messaged me saying that he’s been told by a very good source* that West Ham have made a bid for Luke Thomas, their young left back.
Just relaying what I’ve been told.

*he originally said ‘a very good sauce’ I automatically assumed we’d want him on the HP.

Mods/UtJ - you guys confirm ITK posters are legit, right? Anything on this?

Not doubtful, as such, and wouldn't be surprised if Fabianski has signed on (I think Antonio's extension was also signed long before the official announcements?), but just before we take things from this poster as gospel...

I bet we could get JWP for closer to £50m than £65m.

Much like Rice, clubs would be able to get him from us for a fair bit less than the £150m number we keep throwing at them.

I said it a couple of days ago - I think Werner would be really good for us.

Those numbers are posturing - just like Rice for £150m.

Southampton would get jittery at £35m-£40m.

Not bad but that’s still a side without a Centre forward in it.

Bowen's got 18 goals - what are you expecting and how much do you want spend for how many extra goals?
