Hold the front page!!!

Boston Celtics win back to back legs against Miami Heat to make it 2-3 in Eastern Conference Final.
Halfway to making history as no team has ever come back from 0-3 in the NBA Play Offs.
Go Celtics !

If this series goes to 7 games I wonder what effect this will have on Denver. By the time the Finals game one comes round, it's going to be a good week to ten days since they played isn't it?

And it’s just got even tastier!

Almost like a film script, the Celtics make it 3-3 to stand on the brink of an historic playoff victory.
A three-point free throw from the Heat put them 103-102 up with only 3 seconds remaining. Surely that was the end of the Celtics ? Oh no, with just 0.1 seconds on the clock Derrick White gets a tip in to win the game 104-103 for the Celtics. Incredible.

So Miami Heat clearly didn’t read the script and whacked the Celtics in the deciding leg to reach the NBA Final.
Having done what only 4 other teams have done in the playoffs and got back to 3-3 from 0-3, the Celtics went the same way as their predecessors and lost 4-3, despite having home advantage.
It was the three pointers that made the difference. I don’t know what the strike rates were but Boston missed a lot of three pointers and Miami made a lot of their shots from outside the paint, simple as that really.

It can be exciting but 90% of the time is boring. The regular season almost means nothing with 80 games and half the teams making playoffs. Also upsets happen of course, but is generally predictable with best of 7 series.

The peak was undoubtedly 80s and 90s. The way the game is referred is so tedious, it is literally not a contact sport and there is no concept of playing “advantage”

However it does get exciting once the Semis start and the quality is absurd at times. The long range shooting has actually made the game less entertaining, many older folks would agree
