Roy is bang out of form.

Not a massive fan of The Hundred but last night’s game wasn’t too bad at all. My Sky mini box actually went down 3 balls before the end which saw me racing to the other room to see the outcome. Decent effort from the Oval Invincibles middle order.

Hundred again, I’m not a fan (boo old bloke doesn’t like change) but it watchable (and better then the football currently on) I still cannot care about a franchise and don’t even care which are playing.

Yesterdays game was decent, today it’s the under pressure Jason Roy to open, will he actually score some runs?

Crowds seem not at capacity despite Sky saying it is (said this yesterday and today). Is public interest waining already on year two?

Edit - Roy fails again…

Second edit - Ollie Nope goes for zero. (To spin -shocked)

Given the forthcoming financial/economic/everything else crisis there are going to be loads of empty warehouses, aircraft hangers etc, etc.
The Hundred is tailor made for playing indoors (why not use tennis balls?) and it could be played over Christmas leaving the summer to play cricket. :newthumb:

Lords looks wonderful tonight for the Hundred, despite it being tainted by Harry Kane. Some bloke called Morgan with a useful knock, nice to see him find some form.

Smeed with the first ton in the hundred tonight. Beat Livingstones 92 from last year.

With Roy unable to score anything he wouldn’t be a bad go in the T20s.

England Lions scored 672 against South Africa in 117 overs. Looks like bazball is leaking through the whole set up!

Dan Lawrence 97 (97)
Will Brook 140 (170)
Ben Duckett 145 (168)
Sam Billings 92 (96)
Craig Overton 42 (21)

Good ball this one. Third duck in a row (and lasted two balls this time)

I'm changing my mind about the Hundred, even though I never will, nor never have watched it......

The Royal London 50 over has (seeing as many of the top county players are off at the rounders tournament) allowed the counties to play dozens of talented youngsters, each county seems to have several, but as a decades long Hampshire follower the sight of young Dom Kelly steaming into the Lancashire batters (aged 16!) was quite something.

First test vs South Africa today at Lords. I'm off work and the wife has taken the kids out for the day, so I'm set for a day of doing f*** all but watching test cricket. Just as it should be.

Lees gone already though.

Crawley with a thick edge...no surprise.

Root gone now. 42 for 3. So far another grim 1st day for England at Lords.

In a spot of bother here.

Will we see a bit of composure from Stokes? I hope so.
