That might be on me as well PI. Listening on TMS while working and thought I'd put the TV on after finishing at 3:30. First ball I watched.

Inside edge which usually means you have a second or two processing where the balls gone...Root should never have called that as a run.

Ollie Pope...so frustrating.

Seems to be a horrible man on the field (speaks quite well the little I've seen of him off it) but yes, he is a very bad winner but gets away with his nonsense time after time (can't be upsetting the Indians can we? )

Good recovery from Root and Bairstow after that wobble. Halfway to the required total.

I don’t like the way this India side behave… they’re the ‘Arsenal’ of the Test format.

It just not cricket….

Strikes me more of a Liverpool (the fans largely as well) but there is nothing less Cricket than the way Kohli is allowed to behave..He should have been pulled up for it years ago.

In the 'hope' phase now...these two doing what they've done all summer.

136 162 71* 106 55*

Not a bad little run (against the World champs and the defeated finalist)

It's truly incredible, he's seeing it like a football. I never thought he was right for the Test format, but at the moment he looks the best player in the world. Just shows what confidence and form brings...

I hope we win, nine down after the ump fails to give a plumb LBW but they’ve no reviews left. All just to see Kohli’s face.

Makes Nick Kyrgios look like a thoroughly well-rounded individual.

He's treated as a god by the Indian fans and acts like he believes it. Bloke is an arrogant horrible twat.

Compare him to Kane Willamson...

Hope we thrash them tomorrow.

We love to lose a wicket first thing as well. If they can see out the first 20 minutes we've got this.
