Ashes schedule is out and all Tests are played in June and July as The Hundred takes precedence in August, apparently.

3 days break in-between the last two Tests is absolute madness.

If you are going to sell your soul, then do it all it. The ECB can't be accused of not being behind glorified rounders. Can I please have a sport that I like that isn't being ruined by short sighted desires for massive amounts of money (by people who already have massive amounts of money)

Edit - Essex 34-4 not looking good..

Well above par score for England batting first. If the local knowledge is correct looks like it’s England’s to lose. Good efforts all round from the batsmen, with Moeen standing out (sorry batters, off the woke training for me!)

Always think this way of saying a defeat is b*llocks when they only won with 3 or 4 balls remaining. We notch up an extra 6 rather than a dot ball and suddenly they're in trouble if they bat the same way.

It usually is but to not take one wicket in a T20 is pretty rare. I think this is the first time England have ever been wicketless in this format.

Just caught the reply to this. So much for a good total. That was (aided by some crap) brutal batting.

Hales out?

Looks like Pak are going for the series win here and England are more bothered about rotating and looking at new players.

England well in control with Pakistan three down. Love to see Wood in the wickets. Brook is some talent, it’s not just the power, the placement of some of his shots was world class.

Brilliant partnership from Brook and Duckett earlier.

Some sensational shots from Brook especially, looks a real talent.

I'm in the ballot for The Oval. Hopefully there's something still to play for by then!?

Hate them too. Totally against the spirit of cricket. Shame on that player.

Oooh that was bad. Not even a proper Mankad, not like the player was taking the P. The bowlers front foot had landed, it is a split second.

Next time anyone plays India women it should be juicy.

As usual twitter was full of India fans saying what a brilliant bit of play it was. :thdn:

Her front foot had landed and then she checked back.

If we won the Ashes like that I'd be ashamed.
