I don't get this early goal clamour, patience is the key here, going gung ho from the start exposes us to a counter and they are good at that. The key is to try and keep a clean sheet for as long as possible.
We will grow into the game.

If there is a 50/50 chance that Antonio can go 60 minutes, we have to give it a try. 5 subs, so less of an risk.

Thing is Antonio hasn't got a fitness issue and maybe able to do 60 mins.
He either has a muscle strain or not.

He can't be risked surely if he is any doubt.
We could lose him for the rest of he season.
This is a last 16 game not a final.

I think there's definitely some truth to that. And Craig Dawson is peak Sergio Ramos when it comes to corners.

I still think they are probably favourites but looking forward to the experience nonetheless.

we’ll need to be patient (team and fans). Start positively but not gung-ho. Sevilla will be looking to frustrate us and slow the game down a lot.

Finally, hope we have a decent ref, can’t remember the last time I left the bowl for a home game thinking the ref was decent - I still think we get less decisions there than we used to get at the Boleyn. Not talking big decisions - more the ebb and flow, early yellows that stop certain behaviours from opposition players etc, yellow for one of ours at their first offence that then means they can’t play to their fullest, goal kicks instead of corners, stopping play for nonsense fake injuries etc.

42 years since we last played a competitive European home tie against Spanish opponents, that occasion being Castilla of course. Something I hadn't realised is that originally UEFA decreed the home tie had to be 187 miles away from Upton Park due to crowd trouble in the first leg. Sunderland agreed to host the game before the ' behind closed doors ' option was settled on. Official attendance on the night was 262 !
