Tottenham 3-1 West Ham Utd (20/3/22)

Post by paulhs1 »

Sunday 20th March
16.30

In case anyone's forgot, theres the small matter of a London derby on Sunday.

Taking into account that we played 120 minutes of high intensity football less than 72 hours earlier, I'd be amazed if we get anything out of this, but you never know we may keep going on adrenaline.

I'd bite your arm off for a draw.

We’re heading to that dump off the back of some colossal performances. Our defensive shape, in particular, is in rude health. I rather fancy us to do a smash & grab and stroll home with 3 points, even though there’ll be some sore limbs on the pitch.

Let me say this early, for all our joy from last night when I should be in a haze of nirvanic ecstacy, I ****ing hate Spurs with a passion.

Have I ever mentioned that before?

This will go one of two ways. We will either be totally knackered after our Herculian effort last night, or it will galvanise us to even greater heights

3 wins in a week ?????

realistically we will be too knackered and the cheating ital will beat us. arteta complaining about fixture congestion ! moyes will just get on with it.

cant see antonio making it which is a shame as he likes a goal against this lot.

would be lovely to follow up with a good result at the toilet. a draw would be great.

moyes will change it around a bit . maybe reinforce our wings. shame we have no other CF. cant see yarmo or antonio starting this .
oko or perkins unlikely to get on.

Spurs have absolutely no excuse here after 120 minutes last night. Would be really hilarious if they don’t take 3 points.

I always think that at some point the fatigue and injuries are going to kick in and we are going to get a hammering. But the team keep finding a way. I wouldn't be surprised if we get something here as well.

Should we have to play someone else's Cup Final with a hangover?

What would Arteta say, in the circumstances?

Tbf I care massively about it

Doing the double over Spurs would be tremendous

I really want us to come top 6 again as that means we have again finished above one if the 'big 6'. It is extremely rare for a team outside the 'big 6' to come in the top 6 two seasons running

Tiny Tots will be up for their "Big Match" They need the points badly and the natives are getting restless. TBH I'm not that concerned about this fixture and after 90 + Extra Time against the mighty Spanish I'm more concerned about the player's fitness.

I fully expect us to finish above Tottering Hotspuds come the end of the season and also a mass exodus of their best players and Conté too. (Poor Spuds)
I know at this moment in time I'd rather be a hammer than a spud regardless of the result on Sunday! :crylol: :crylol: :crylol:

I noticed Bowen run on the picture to celebrate in one of the vids last night, he didn't look in bad shape so maybe a chance he features in some way

I dont think Moyes will do anything other than go with the same starting 11 as last night. Perhaps Vlasic for Benrahma or Frederick's for Johnson.

They will be coming at us and will be all guns blazing, we could get them on the break.

I would absolutely bite your arm off for a draw.
