The UCI requires transgender women to suppress their testosterone levels to 2.5 nmol/L for a 24-month period prior to competing in female events.
Back in the days, when you left one federation before you were allowed to compete for another, you had to have sabbatical of sorts.
How about a sabbatical of one olympic cycle, four years? No competing, no training, nada.
