Europa League Final
I know this is getting ahead of myself.... But have been wondering a few things.....
1. Why is the Euroa league final on the 18th May before our season ends? The Conference final is not till the 25th May. Surely the second tier final should have a later slot
2. How many seats would we get for the final and how will these be allocated? Is it by the usual away points or ballot of season ticket holders?
3. I have a hotel booked but what is the best way to travel
4. How many goals will we win by?
As a side point if we get one more coefficient point (a draw in the next 2 games) our uefa coefficient next season will be based on our performance this season and not the country average which will be quite an achievement in our first proper season in Europe in decades

Re: Europa League Final
The answer to 2 as far as I am aware is PP, the reason they were added for home cup matches was if we ever make a final.
Need some more details on 3, where you coming from/what dates do you have hotels booked.

Re: Europa League Final
Looks like we’ve been allocated 10,000 tickets of which 4,000 are supposedly free. Not too sure how that would work in terms of who would get them.
I’ve booked flights to Malaga and refundable accommodation in Seville. Flights are still decently priced at the moment but will ramp up ridiculously should we get there.

Re: Europa League Final
We haven't been allocated any tickets and neither has anyone else.
We are getting a little ahead of ourselves here chaps and this has JINX written all over it.

Re: Europa League Final
Just a heads up guys.
It's now possible to apply for final tickets via Uefa.
I've used this before for the Euros and it's just a luck of the draw ballot.
Previously I have been allocated tickets(for Euros) and got a choice to reject them (as the teams were not decided) I assume its the same but please check t&c's.
Again my presumption is that tickets are allocated in a neutral section (although once I have been sat with England and once in neutral so I really don't know).
But this might be an option for people to explore if they want to just go to a European final. No presumption we will be there and no jinx on what happens.

Re: Europa League Final
Worth a try but no opting out as cut off is 28th April, which seems a bit mad,

Re: Europa League Final
of course the champions league final is the weekend after the season ends. Sat 28th.
The same weekend as two of the EFL finals.
I can't see any reason why our match couldn't have been that weekend too.
It's not like everything is at the same venue and the season is still running in spain is it?
That ends on 23rd May.

Re: Europa League Final
The allocation for the final is 10k to each team as announced by UEFA yesterday.
I've got flights into Malaga on the Tuesday night. Then it would be a train to Seville the next morning, same journey back on the Friday afternoon.
If we don't go through, it certainly won't be anything to do with threads like this. There's no harm in being prepared.

That's only for applying for the ballot.Pop Robson wrote: ↑Thu Apr 21, 2022 9:55 amWorth a try but no opting out as cut off is 28th April, which seems a bit mad,
I would assume they're smart about this and the payment window ends after the 2nd legs have been completed.Once the lottery has been completed (no later than 6 May 2022), all successful applicants will receive an email containing a link for the payment of tickets. You will be given a specific time frame to pay for the tickets. Please bear in mind that this time frame will be very short. If you do not make payment for all your tickets during this time frame, your application will be cancelled.

Re: Europa League Final
6th May is the day after the second leg so there's no issues there. Even if we get knocked out, if I get tickets to the ballot I'd probably still go for the crack seeing as I've got everything booked up.

Yes, they'll be given out to corporate entities who have absolutely zero interest in football.Aussie_Rosso wrote: ↑Thu Apr 21, 2022 1:45 pmAnyone know how these UEFA allocation of 13,000 tickets to be sold worldwide will work?

They do have an interest, they see it as a way to make money

Re: Europa League Final
Going via faro, hotel pre booked from way back never going to get a ticket in a million years but just wanted to back to Seville with the hammers one more time living the dream. It's a small ground if you can get a ticket get on the plane you won't regret it. If you can't get a ticket get on the plane and have a party.
