Trump is finding his form just as Mark is losing his big time. 7-1 after the first session.

3-3 between Ronnie & Scotch. Thought Higgins was going to leave Ronnie for dust, but sounds like he did very well to claw back to evens. Nicely balanced start to this one, hopefully Williams can recover his mojo against Trump today.

11-5 now in Trump’s favour.

Better session from Williams but if they carry on sharing frames then Trump will ease into the Final.
It’s a big ask from Williams but he needs to win tonight’s session at least 6-2 to put the cat among the pigeons. It is of course perfectly doable as he did in first session vs Bentao but it is also perfectly feasible that Trump could wrap things up tonight with a session to spare.

Fingers crossed for Williams to make a fight of it.

Well well well what do we have here. Williams has now well and truly made this a match again. Now only 2 frames behind at 12-10.

2 More to play tonight, even if they are shared. 13-11 from 7-1 and 9-3 behind will be represent a great day for the Welshman.

But he couldn't get it to 12-12 Could he?

Well what about that for a potting masterclass from Mark Williams. I was hoping for a 6-2 session win and that’s exactly what he delivered. At 12-5 down up steps Williams with a marvellous 137 clearance on his way to five winning frames on the spin eventually ending up with a much healthier deficit of 13-11 going in to tomorrow afternoon’s final session. Williams has well and truly got himself right back in this semi-final.
One shot in particular was sensational in the 20th frame. Trump had looked likeliest to win the frame until Williams took on a long yellow and it went straight down the throat of the pocket with the white travelling round the table to land perfectly on the green leaving Williams to clear up to go into mid session interval 12-8 down.
What a fighter he is.

Mark Williams is the ****ing man. Superb match player as well as a proper scrapper when someone tries to drag him down.

Ron bringing the HEAT this afternoon. There’s nothing in this sport to compare with Ronnie when he’s on his A game.

Williams just doesn’t know when he’s beaten, does he. Magnificent pot to take that frame 👍

7-1, 9-2 and 12-5 down. Looking like he might lose with a session to spare.

Trump 14-14 Williams. 😲

Mark Williams also now has 15 centuries so far in this year's Championship.

Hendry holds the record for most individual Centuries in one World Championship with 16

A record many thought would never be beaten.

Mark Williams needs just 1 more to level and 2 more to beat it
