PS4 help...

Post by Big George »

Im not a gamer but my 11 yo son is.

He had an update to his PS4 which was corrupted so we took it somewhere where it was rempoved and reinstalled.

However he has lost all his "progress" and gone back to the start of FIFA etc. Is there anyway to reinstate it?

Cheers.

I had to restore a friend’s kid’s PS4 recently. Anything stored in the PS network will be recoverable but anything local is gone forever.

Select Settings (in the lower right corner) from the Home menu of your PlayStation.
Choose Application Saved Data Management from the Settings menu.
Click Saved Data in Online Storage.
Choose the Download to System Storage (You may click on the Delete option to clear unnecessary files for making more room in the Cloud.)
Browse the saved game data and select all the files you need.
Click on the Download button in the lower right corner.
Wait for the downloading process to finish.
