Let’s not forget there’s a transfer window before the next round, and we’re unlikely to be strengthening to any notable degree.

Hopefully they'll move the game to Glimt instead :fxd:

It would also be bloody cold. I think I read somewhere it's inside the Arctic Circle.

Aren't they another team with a plastic pitch too?

Were we not 2 up in a league cup semi final v Birmingham once?

I can assure you that Moyes, the dildo's and Kretinsky will not make that mistake again.

After signing what was it 8/9 players in the summer there is no reason to strengthen in January.

Despite our league form this season our squad has significantly greater depth than last season, it’s just up to Moyes to use it properly.

Thanks, UTJ. :newthumb:

Lazio should get through. But on the whole, not a bad draw from our perspective.

Braga vs Fiorentina is a great one for us. As a decent team will be knocked out.

I think Trabzonspor vs Basel may be a pretty close contest. As could Bodo/Glimt vs Lech Poznań.

Tricky one for the runners up from our group.

Qarabag vs Gent
Trabzonspor vs FC Basel
Lazio vs Cluj
Bodo/Glimt vs Lech Poznań
Braga vs Fiorentina
AEK Larnaca vs Dnipro
Sheriff vs FK Partizan
Ludogorets vs Anderlecht

Do we definitely play the winners of one of the play off rounds? Or is there a chance we play one of the winners of the other groups who, like us, are already through to the next stage? (Eg. Nice/Djurgardens)

Yes and no in that order. As a group winner we play the winner of one of the play
off matches but it's a free draw after that.

Think Lech Poznań would be my pick, easy to get to and a great looking stadium which will have a decent away allocation.

Bodo, Ludogorets, Qarabag, Trabzonspor all difficult journeys.

Bodo, Larnaca, Dnipro will be very small allocations (no more than 500). Ludogorets, Sheriff will be only around 1k
