I have my brother and sister in law staying and he’s a casual Liverpool supporter so we’ll be watching.

I’m hoping for 7 men sent off from each team, the final declared null and void and both banned from Europe for 10 years. Failing that, Scouse to lose 11-10 on penalties with snidey Jota missing the final kick, and then all the scouse pundits to have a Harry Enfield style punch up after arguing about who’s fault it all was !

I really dislike Real Madrid, Franco and royalty stuffs. I have no opinion about Liverpool as I don't have to go through the mediatic storm you seem to be facing. French media always remind to us how great their fans are which is irritating but bearable on small doses.

From the experience I had with fans of both clubs when we faced them in UCL, I would definitely pick 3 days with the scousers over 1 single minute with the merengue. And this is no compliment to the reds, believe me.

But, one man changes it all for me. I witnessed the first minutes as a pro of Karim Benzema and saw him becoming an incredible player at OL. I know where he grew as a kid, I was living there when I was a student. It really feels like he's a kid from next block. What he is doing this season is unbelievable and I really want him to get that Ballon d'Or stupid trophy. It is quite unreal to think we produced such a player.
