I’m one of two drinkers in the pub. This is soul destroying.

Fella… I’ve not been to City since we threw away 2-0 v United to not win the title in front of them. Nobody then knew what the coronavirus was.

It’s actually very sad. Pubs never re-open.

Interesting video from a farmer doing the rounds, says bird flu isn’t the cause for a shortage in eggs, the supermarkets won’t pay them more for the eggs despite putting them up by some 40p themselves. - Increases in electricity and feed are deterring the farmers from getting more birds.

Says he gave interviews to the BBC and ITV saying the above and that bird flu was around last year and didn’t have an impact. - both stations edited his interviews to suit there “all fear” agenda.

Another manufactured shortage.

I don't eat eggs - do supermarkets do 'wonky' eggs in the way they do with fruit and veg? Seems like a possible solution to some of that waste.

I'm sure this will cheer us all up- MPs can claim Christmas parties on expenses
MPs will be able to claim the cost of their office Christmas party on parliamentary expenses under new rules.

The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (Ipsa) announced MPs can this year claim back money spent food, decorations and non-alcoholic drinks for an "office festive event".

MPs can also claim for a party in their constituency if it is "within a parliamentary context".

The move has been criticised by MPs from all sides of Parliament.

Former Brexit secretary David Davis called the rules "bonkers".

Speaking to TalkTV Mr Davis said the expenses watchdog had "missed the mood of the age".

Food inflation is astronomical.

No longer certain if it's input cost driven or straight profiteering. I suspect the later.

Make as much money as you can as quickly as you can before the system collapses. Welcome to end stage capitalism.

My 1.5 litre of Evian is up to £1 now. Fairly sure it used to be 70p or so. The quacks told me I need to drink more water so I mix it with Vimto at work. Water machine from now on!

The knock on effect of this is going to be huge. If you’re able to help someone then please do so.
