Good luck Nayef.
Selling Alese was stupid. Or for me he looked like the one of the youngsters ready to step up.
He has gone to a league one team. That tells me is isn't ready to step up to a team hoping to fight for top 6.

We wouldn't have sold him down the Leagues if we thought he'd make it, unless we were offered too good to turn down money which I doubt.

What I'm worried about is the ankle is a bad place for a footballer to get an injury. Might not be the same after that injury. Also not sure did Dean Ashton retire over a broken ankle or something similar.
Ashton broke his ankle. Aguerd has not.
What is it with people and expecting the worst from literally everything nowadays.
Having been a decent footballer by most standards and playing competitively in to my early 30s - I had ankle ligament surgery by one of the top specialists last July after it finally blew out. Was bedridden for 10 days, boot and non weight bearing for 2 weeks, boot with weight bearing for another 2 weeks, and therapy 3 times a week after that. Was given the all-clear by the first of December but it is nowhere near what it was before. Only good for jogging and predicting when rain is coming. Hope the best for the lad but I’m very wary of these ankle ligaments now.
Wilshere was never the same after he did his ankle ligaments. I hope Aguerd's injury is not too serious and he mends soon but we'll need to buy another defender asap.

You could pick out Wilshere if you were being negative... or if you were being positive then you could also point to Ronaldo rupturing his ankle ligaments back in 2008. Kept him out for almost 100 days. He came back ok.
We shouldn't be selling Diop anyway regardless of the injury to Aguerd. He's nowhere near as bad as he's labelled on here and it's just storing up trouble for next season by having aging and increasingly injury prone CHs in Ogbonna and Dawson as CH cover on the bench. That's assuming Aguerd is a success, he hasn't kicked a ball in the PL.

Oh no. I hope that isn’t true. Would rather he be injured. Fingers crossed for the Dawsons, whatever is happening.
Supposedly he had a thigh knock, and had it been a league game he’d have played against Luton, but because he had that niggle and his lad was unwell he was given the time off.
