If ever there was a time to bring back the player sponsorships in the match day programme.

Two or three occasions he just accelerated past a breaking striker, seemingly effortlessly, to clear things up with minimal fuss, and it had me wondering if I'd ever seen that from a West Ham CB before and, yeah... not since Rio.

Really hope he can stay fit as I think he's going to be a massive player for us if so. Great passing range too and has an assuredness that, say, Kehrer seems to lack atm. Should be a strong pairing with Zouma.

I was about to say he looked a bit rolls roycey without having to even take off the handbrake. Can't wait to see him up against a lot better opposition, got a good feeling about him.

I’m not going to get too excited as he was hardly tested tonight but he looks good on the ball and seems to have a decent turn of pace…..which would be very handy for our defence.

Looking forward to seeing him second half of the season.

A positive ball playing defender, with no hesitation to zip it into midfield, or pick out a long pass, looks quick as well.

I look forward to seeing him in our strongest eleven.

Aguerd -> Paqueta -> Scamacca -> GOAL!!

Early days, but looked classy tonight. Plays with his head up, quick, good passer, reads the game well. Lots to like and look forward to.

I thought he looked a bit awkward in the brief minutes I saw against Reading and Rangers. None of that tonight despite the lay off. Great to see.

Playing alongside Nath and Kehrer is going to make Zouma's life so simple. Realistically he should always have those two plus Rice & Paqueta showing as confident options on the ball.

Not sure how obvious it was on the TV but felt he pushed us up to play a very high line this evening. Certainly in the first half at least.

Looked good

Very encouraging debut.
I hadn't seen him kick a ball prior to this evening and was a bit concerned that the hype around him wouldn't be justified.
Level of opposition accepted, but I needn't have worried.
:clap:
