Re: ✍ Nayef Aguerd
Never been one to appreciate defenders (the Dailly/Repka/Breen era scarred me permanently), but this guy looks the real deal. Only two other defenders until now have grabbed my attention in a positive way since I supported West Ham, and that was Richard Hall before the injury curse got him, and Hannu Tihenen on his short term loan. Both looked classy players and Aguerd looks like joining that select bunch. Hope we get a long and decent service from him

Re: ✍ Nayef Aguerd
That he is, he makes defending an art form and enjoyable to watch. How we have missed him, I wager if he had been fit all season we would arguably be 9 or so points better off. Not so much less goals going in, he improves our attack with his overall play.

Re: ✍ Nayef Aguerd
alongside oggy we have two good passers just a shame og is too old now.
augerd has to stay fit for the sake of our season. we have no cover if he goes down

He’s so committed he injured himself preseason. Bet we’d be top 8 had he not got crocked.

Re: ✍ Nayef Aguerd
He looks the absolute b*llocks.
He is the level of player we need
A new world class goalie
Aguerd
Rice
A new world class striker
And our spine would be quality.
Shame we won't get to build around Rice and him reallt.

Re: ✍ Nayef Aguerd
Just try not to look below the knees, they are not the calfs of a defender.
You get double whammy with him: world class interception he got up and played on
We have unearthed a massive diamond with this fella. Moyse' first pick last summer wasn't he?
