Re: Nobby
Met him after a game in 2014 and good chat and some photos with him like the fan boy I am.
He really does get us and I'll always have a soft spot for the guy. Took me a while due to his Bolton connection, but he's West Ham in my book.

Re: Nobby
Here’s a question. As he has captained the club to a Wembley win and silverware, albeit the play-offs, does he classify as a ‘West Ham legend’?

Re: Nobby
He’s got to be in with a shout. I remember being distinctly impressed and surprised when we got him, and can’t think of any other examples of a player signing for a club and immediately becoming captain. Goes to show how well regarded he was by his peers.funky chicken wrote: ↑Sat Jun 25, 2022 7:10 am Here’s a question. Re: Nobby
Been involved in some club milestones over the years has our Nobby. Bit of an unsung hero in my eyes, would like him to stay even if DM goes North of the border

Re: Nobby
For some reason I always thought he'd be the sort of bloke to balloon to twice his weight in retirement, no idea why. I'm usually right about these sorts of things but my mystical senses deceived me this time, and he didn't do a Razor Ruddock (not even a David Unsworth, in fact).
