there's some pucker albums on there.

maybe not all of them are solid all throughout but there's some excellent songs on there for sure.

won't go through a lot of them, and to be honest there's loads on there that are really not my cup of tea.

but for some it's actually what they did to and for the "music scene" at that time and how they influenced bands to come or actually morphed into something better.

You can, but that might say as much about you as it does about me. A quick scan of my May posts in this forum include The Go-Betweens, Loop, Ultra Vivid Scene, William Basinski, The Jasmine Minks, Keith Hudson, Half Man Half Biscuit, The Wolfhounds, Magnolia Electric Co. and Kristin Hersh. None of those are what you might call obscure and some of them are widely-known.

that's it.

and all it says about me is that I like different music from you. as for obscure, it depends on your outlook, that lot you have listed are about as obscure to me as probably 99% of the albums on the 50 year list are for you as you said you've only ever heard one of them.

it's not a knock, just that different people have widely different tastes. and that's fine.

last couple of weeks I had a listen to the new Tears For Fears album. not bad. probably not your cup of tea either. but I have no problem with that at all.
