Servette our further along their pre-season than we are. It's no surprise we've been a little sloppy.

Agree. Interesting isn’t it that he’s 12 months younger than Downes I read? I admit I’m a member of his fan club.chigwellhammer wrote: ↑Fri Jul 08, 2022 5:51 pm Covs, tidy, wanting the ball and some nice forward passing x

Only mentioned his pace. If that’s a monumental full pelt sledging, this fanbase is too soft!Bond Holder 59 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 08, 2022 5:52 pm Blimey, I almost feel obliged to sledge Cresswell. Are we going at them full pelt already? I’m only just back from pre season. My anger isn’t match fit.
Just an observation - for a while now he seems to have become noticeably slower than he once was.

To disclose everything, I’m also slower and and yes a bit soft.
Think many on the pitch are only going 50%. Including Mickey. It’s our first game.

Last season, Thiago Silva gave him a headstart and he still beat Benrahma to the ball.

Surprised they are using Diop given transfer spec. Hope he doesn’t get injured.

You can be too casual when faced with an open goal..

Benrahma just knocked at least 5 million off his price tag with that miss and overall performance. Cheers Benny, only at West Ham!

Nice to see a youth player I've not heard of scoring a poacher's goal

On a positive note, I'm pleased for the youngsters, it's what they train (and wait patiently for). Well done the youth.

No point in having unrealistic pre season games is there?
Probably a recording.

Think we'll ever see a cottee/Freddie sears/ Michael Owen type breakthrough again? I really hope so

This will teach him all right. When the league start he'll probably play senior first teamers just to prove he is awakeHermit_Road wrote: ↑Fri Jul 08, 2022 6:17 pm How have we not conceeded at least 2 here? A wake up call for the Moyesiah surely!
