A quick note to all the mysoginists please stay quiet there are some men here who actually respect women and support their dreams.
The two most influential people in my life were women, my mother and grandmother..
Please respectfully chill out!

Well done ladies

BBC forced to apologise for foul-mouthed Jill Scott reaction

The BBC were forced to apologise after their camera's picked up a foul-mouthed rant by England's Jill Scott. The midfielder was caught shouting 'f*** off you f***ing p****' after being caught by a late German challenge.

As a football mad 10 year old growing up in the 60s, being told that only boys played football and girls played netball, I realised early on that my dream would come to nothing, I am ecstatic for this England team, what a stupendous result - so happy for them and their achievement.

Well done ladies! I think when you're in the second half of extra time it comes down to who wants it most and Chloe Kelly and Jill Scott wanted it more than anyone else and they dragged Lucy Bronze and Alessia Russo along with them.

I thought Wiegman was outstanding throughout although I wish she'd sub Daly a bit earlier. Super performances all round really.

Love the German player pretending to nick the Trophy during the latest interview. Good sense of humour and very good sport. 👍

I mentioned in an earlier post that HerOFTness's cousin played in the England women's team from 1972 to 76. She eventually went abroad to play.

Really proud of them. They never gave in and got their reward in the end. Some first goal as well. Superb ball, great run and top finish. Superb game management. Manager must take huge credit for producing such a united team with a plan.
