Divin Mubama

Post by paulhs1 »

This kid needs his own thread.

First time I saw him today and he looks far too experienced for 17.

I think we might have a player on our hands in a couple of years.

Trying to not sound overly dramatic but I thought he looked far livelier than Antonio when he came on today.

This kid is only 17 and looks to want to make smart runs and movement, be it across the line or dropping deep.

We might have something if we are patient.

Too soon for the Championship but i'm sure he would do well at a league one club.

I think it would be in the best interest if he established himself on u23 level before considering sending him out on loan, he is 17 years old.

The Boy has been at the club since the age of 8 and has a contract until 2024, Might as well tear it up and go and work at B&Q now you have cast your eye over him for half hour or whatever it was.

I wasn't really paying attention but his attempt to beat the last man (which ended him on his arse) was absolutely useless.

Cottee was 16. And would have made an attempt on target.

Looked very promising to me, put himself about, didn't have much service, but was hungry and went working for the ball, hopefully a future star for us.

Of course he makes mistakes, isn’t as strong as some, can look naive….. he’s 17 ! He had more movement and at times held it up better than Antonio today, his attitude seems great, Mubama has a lot of potential, get behind him and let’s see where we are in 2 years, let him grow and learn and we may have a star on our hands. These kids need encouragement.

I'm quite excited by this young player.

17 is really no age playing in men's football. The bit when he landed on his arse he will learn from.

Don't give me Paul Allen and Tony Cottee. They were up against players who ate steak before a game and were in the pub and bookies after training and having a fag.

He's got 4 years to get in the groove. Might happen, might not. But I'm giving the lad all my support to achieve his potential.
