I didn't see that and you are the first person to confirm that was the reason so positive news.

So they're going to risk a situation where both sets of ticketless fans are wandering round in a panic after a skinful of beer to try and find somewhere to watch the game? I just can't see it.
Will also encourage people to try their luck at the ground.

On another note, it seems anyone travelling in and out of Paris-Orly should check with their operator as there's going to be disruption from Monday through until early Wednesday due to airport strikes.

Yes that’s us
We now have earlier flights to CDG Paris then flights later to Prague
Plan B we have flights to Orly Paris.
From what I’ve read Orly are cutting 1/3 flights everything else should be ok but seriously panicking !

Weather forecast has changed a lot over the last 24 hours.
Still comfortable temps (around 20 degrees) but a fair amount of rain expected.

The main risk as I see it for the ticketless fans is that the merest hint of trouble leading up to the game could lead to pubs and bars being closed and thus opportunities to watch the game limited

It’s not the reason why I booked it, but the Ironworks event gives me absolute security and a seat for my Dad to watch the game.Crouchend_Hammer wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 8:45 am The main risk as I see it for the ticketless fans is that the merest hint of trouble leading up to the game could lead to pubs and bars being closed and thus opportunities to watch the game limited
Pretty expensive but it is what it is.

Not to scare anyone, but Paris is absolutely shocking for connections.
Nearly missed my flight to Rio in November after they randomly stopped the flow of people connecting through the airport. Our flight from London arrived with all the time in the world…

We are doing Paris (CDG) but on the return leg, so slightly less concerned. Flying out via Rome (FCO), and we have a little under 2 hours transfer time.Centre Half wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 9:23 am Not to scare anyone, but Paris is absolutely shocking for connections.

We’re on our way!
Just checked in for Eurostar to Brussels.
Overnight stop there and Berlin.
Berlin & Cologne on way back.
Is anyone else going by train all the way?

Flying into Brno Tuesday afternoon from Stansted - getting train to Prague (about 2 hours 30 mins) and get to Prague about 8pm
Flying back to Stansted early Friday morning direct from Prague on way back.
Flights overall cost just under £200 - sorted out accommodation right in the centre for very cheap too months back Got my ticket to the game!
Heading to Download festival on the Friday and Saturday too - it’s going to be a crazy week!

Is there actually a guaranteed seat? I assumed it was a night club

Not in its literal sense, but there will be seats dotted about, or something to lean against at least. (I’m naively assuming that to be fair).
Weather is also looking very 50-50, can’t decide what it wants to do on Wednesday.

Currently 23 degrees Celsius tops here today. Quite humid.
Passport control were asking anyone who looked like a football fan, ' are you here for the football?' and proceeded to make a note of passport details, hotel and stay length on a separate sheet manually.
