Conte going is so unsurprising I forgot he was still spurs manager. As for Hodgson it seems like a sensible if uninspiring temporary appointment. Palace just need to stop the rot, they don't have to dazzle anybody.
(In case it's not clear since I didn't quote a previous poster. I'd rather have Moyes over Conte every day of the week NOT that Moyes should be sacked before Conte)
If Kane leaves in the summer, I think that puts them out of the picture for years. They'll have to undergo a massive rebuild and I don't think ENIC wants to/can finance it. Combine that with Newcastle moving into the picture, Todd Boehly throwing money at Chelsea like tomorrow is the end, Arsenal and Man Utd back on the right trajectory, and Man City and Liverpool being Man City and Liverpool.

They're bang in trouble. The team doing reasonable but drops right in it and goes down.

Undoubtedly they will get shown the door as soon as someone is appointed
They'll wait until the Summer. Unless someone brilliant is available straight away.
I doubt someone like Nagelsmann walks in not knowing if they'll have the Champion's League next year, not knowing if Kane will leave and not in a with a chance of winning any of the four competitions they started in.

Surely the next coach needs to be brought in ASAP so they can push for the top four? If not they'll just have an excuse to fall away.

Who comes in for that? Any decent manager wants to know what competition they're in next season, what their budget will be etc.
The thing keeping Moyes in a job is the reason Tottenham won't hire anyone.

Not necessarily. Ancelotti went straight from Napoli to Everton.

Or any decent manager will believe in themselves and think they could get Spurs to finish in the top 4
Levy's 10 full time Managerial appointments have won 61 major titles before and after managing Spurs.
Working for Levy, they've managed just 1 Carling Cup in his 22 years pulling the strings between them.
(Borrowed from the flaccid chicken).
Made me smile anyway...
Sky Sports overhyping Conte’s appointment, telling us what a ‘world class manager’ he is and what a massive coup he was for the Spuds certainly died a death pretty quickly!
If it wasn’t for Kane and Son I doubt they would’ve snuck in 4th spot last season. Same story this season, with Kane lifting a pretty bang average squad. Without him they’d be more level with the likes of Brighton.
Thanks to Chelsea and Liverpool’s poor season they’ll probably sh*thouse another top 4 finish though, with the help of Kane and their home form.
