Has a match thread ever hit 100 pages, I don’t recall ever seeing one? This one will be there by the morning!

‘Should of’ does mean that there shouldn’t always be a need to overreact though. Why do you think we lost the game? If you think in part it’s because of a harshly disallowed goal, a penalty miss, a flukey goal conceded, hitting the bar twice, missing rebounds and a failure to send McKenna off, then you probably should give a little more thought into the ‘should of’ part of it.
If we are being pedantic....its should have...not should of!
Just out of curiosity I watched the MOTD2 highlights again because I thought during the match that Henderson had his right foot well of the line before Rice kicked the ball. Slow motion shows he did. Ref never noticed in real time but why doesn't VAR advise the ref? Just another example of the pure bad luck we had during this game.

sorry but what did cresswell have to do with the goal that was conceded?
Nothing Mate, was just talking in General...I really like Cress....But Full Backs are massively important now,We need a bit extra there now.
They're up and down like wingers these days even in a 4,fittest quickest players on the pitch...Think he divides a lot of opinion among us tho.

VAR didn't advise the ref because no offence was committed. Specifically from the rules:
When the ball is kicked, the defending goalkeeper must have at least part of one foot touching, in line with, or behind, the goal line.

encroachment by forest player should have been retaken.
My understanding is it's only considered encroachment now if the defender impacts the play. If the ball spilled from Henderson and the defender who encroached clears it, then it's a retake. As Henderson held the ball, the defender had no involvement so it's not considered encroachment.
I may be wrong, but that's how I've seen it play out in many games in recent years.
Just watched motd 2...Fab did have a good game but wtf is he doing sitting on his arse after going to his left when the ball was never going that way for the goal.
Soucek's header has to be a goal, that one was poor.
Rice's pen was poor too, telegraphed it and didn't strike it well either (Benrahma should have had it with the form he was in).
Fornals long range effort inches away from going in.
Benrahma's free kick the same.
Benrahma's goal would have been fine too had Antonio been a little smarter in the build up.
As others have said, on another day that is a decent and comfortable two goal away win.
