(Nickelback - How You Remind Me)
Always quite liked that one. The lead singer's a massive twat but if I held twattery against musicians I probably wouldn't have liked any band, ever.

They are stultifyingly generic though. They should've changed their name from "Nickelback" to "Major Label Chart-Friendly Rock Band".

They had Errol Brown performing outside a shop on Chelmsford High Street a number of years back. Very similar scenes.
I don't know what his politics were.

Bend it like Repka wrote: Sat Aug 13, 2022 9:23 am In reality there would be a massive list of songs that I really don't like, but off the top of my head, ones that are so bad I either have to leave the room or turn the sound off before I commit an act of rage based violence:

Whole of the Moon: The Waterboys
Young at Heart: The Bluebells
Whenever: Shakira
Lady in Red: Chris de Burgh
I got a feeling: Black eyed Peas

I have to stop now, that's bad enough.... :swear:
One of those is also great...

Absolutely ANYTHING by Take That.. Gary Barlow is NOT one of Britain's best ever song writers. Never in a million years, OR love songs..
ABBA. There isn't any one of their songs that I EVER, need to hear again. I know that they were very good at what they did, they've just never appealed to me.

Rock The Casbah and Whole of The Moon?

I agree about the latter (if that was it), a great song.
