He turned out once for them when we had him, on 10th August when he got the injury - though he never made an appearance for them once he was on the pitch for us - that 10th of August being his last. So I was kinda right, but also, not surprisingly, not entirely accurate either

He had a mare of a Champions League Final, but hopefully it's that game which will ultimately lead to him being able to have a stormer of a European Conference League Final.

He did indeed, near enough tore his thigh muscle from the bone if I remember correctly?

Hopefully a change of scenery will do him good, he has the assets.
One man's junk n all that. It wasnt long ago we were being laughed at by Watford fans about bring Dawson aboard.
Dawson was busy scoring goals in Europa QFs while Watford were busy getting relegated.

Welcome Thilo. I have a really good feeling about this signing. I reckon we got him on a really cheap deal due to PSG being in another universe and the world cup looming hence him happy to move. Feels like a next level signing at budget price.

Harsh. He was playing as a right back and had problems with Coman (who got man of the match).

I think this is a very shrewd bit of business. Hopefully he can slot straight in and hit the ground running.

Seen a lot of posts saying Kehrer is not really an exciting signing but I’m just as hyped for defensive signings these days as attacking players. Must be my age.

:crest: Really happy with this signing, genuinely believe it’s the best signing we’ve made this summer and at a steal of a price. Be intriguing to see if and when everyone is fit, where we play him

just need a new LB and the defence will have been improved greatly.

reckon he will get one half tomorrow and start against brighton as we cant persist with johnson at CB, even though he is a willing trier !

Another excellent signing. Bargain price, versatile, top level experience, still only 25 with something to prove and the right mentality. This is turning into some window!

Areola mentioned in his pre-match interview that he played with Thilo for a year and a half at PSG. That can only help him settle I imagine.

Regardless of how he gets on, his versatility makes him a valuable member of the squad. His upside and pedigree indicates there’s a chance he may even become better than our current options in the long run.

I can see Moyes rejuvenating his career and launching it to new heights in the same way he did with Dawson. This is actually a similar signing in some ways. Bargain price, not rated by fans of his current club, sort of lost his way wrong place wrong time etc.

His story at West Ham will be an interesting one to watch, that’s for sure!

I'm thinking three at the back with Cornetto on the left. Johnson on the right.

That's not that balanced though. Cornet very attack minded while Johnson much more defense minded.
