I'm not undermining him, I'm talking about his performances over the course of the season. He played brilliantly tonight but we need to see that level of performance more often.westlondonhammer wrote: ↑Sun May 07, 2023 10:15 pm Not the last few he hasnt
If youre willing to pile it on when hes poor you should give him credit rather than undermine performances like tonight

He’s either a 4 or an 8. Need him to be a 6 or 7 every game.
Mustard tonight though

Re: ✍ Thilo Kehrer
Seems that he’s starting to cut out the mistakes. He doesn’t look like he’s worrying about making another mistake anymore, which probably helps.

Let's get carried away and enjoy ourselves. Football is supposed to be fun
I have a suggestion for the forum, from now on this guy should only be referred to as THILO. Can't explain why, it just feels right.

Re: ✍ Thilo Kehrer
I want him to keep being good so we can nickname him “Money”. Thilo is kinda sounds like phyllo, as in phyllo dough, as in dough, as in money, and recently he’s been playing like money.Danny's Dyer Acting wrote: ↑Sun May 07, 2023 10:57 pm Let's get carried away and enjoy ourselves. I hope he keeps it up (I’ll delete my account now)

Fair play, Thilo, his last few performances have been brilliant. From where he was earlier in the season to now.. much more like it

Re: ✍ Thilo Kehrer
He does kinda look like he’s friendly and unthreatening though. It would be great to see him build on these performances by showing up to the start of preseason with some attitude…maybe some tattoos (ideally crossed hammers on his forearm) and a mohawk or something and “Thilo” on the back of his jersey.
No longer we see the timid, error-prone Thilo Kehrer or Kehrer…
Arise! THILO

Re: ✍ Thilo Kehrer
Exceptional tonight, as he was against Man City and Arsenal in his last two outings imo. Even when he has made a few mistake in the past, can't fault his passion. Love the way he tries to fire the crowd up

Re: ✍ Thilo Kehrer
As Moyes said afterwards, “some of the new boys” are getting the pace of the league now.
I think that was his best game for us tonight. Rashford has been in great form recently but Thilo had him under control and pretty much took him out of the game.
He’s also a defender who knows how to pass the ball, always looking for a team mate and not hoofing it.
Really encouraging to see his last few performances.

Re: ✍ Thilo Kehrer
Thought he looked very good tonight, hopefully starting to perform like the player we were hoping he could be. The difference tonight was that he was aggressive but not rash and didn’t switch off.

Re: ✍ Thilo Kehrer
Glad he put in another good performance. Does he suffer from Johnson's problem of not being first choice in either position? A clean sheet is welcome anyway.
Re: ✍ Thilo Kehrer
Whilst surprised they started Rashford more through the middle and thought Weghorst could cope with Rice in the midfield, was really worried that a combination of Fernandes and Rashford would ruin our right. Kehrer was simply magnificent though, my MOTM for keeping them then Sancho as quiet as I have seen them in a long time.
The whole defence looked far more structured than recent weeks helped by everyone in front of them putting a shift in. Yes MOTD showed their chances but many came from us giving the ball away. They were far more dangerous when in transition as opposed to controlled possession and that is down to the hard work of everyone.

Re: ✍ Thilo Kehrer
This calm, switched on version of Kehrer is the one Germany I expect are used to. Its also the one I'd love to see week in week out. We'll done Thilo, great performance.
