I think Zouma will be wheelchair bound before the season is out..

It's been a bit slo-mo, in application, but I am beginning to think that this window has been a decent one for us.

Internationals from France, Italy and now Germany, together with a decent performer from a relegated club and Downes.

Well in, West Ham.

In terms of an actual deal, this might be one of our best pieces of business for a very long a time.

Time will tell if its a good deal from a footballing perspective, but his pedigree coupled with his versatility suggests he'll do great for us.

Only if you see Johnson or Ashby as our main RB, Kehrer is coming in as a CB.

Is he?

I didn't see a position mentioned for him. Just that he's able to play across the back.

His last 11 starts for Germany are 3xCB, 4xRB and 4xLB.
Looks like he gives us great options.

Love that bit about him playing more minutes than any other German player since the new coach. Says he is well trusted.

£15 million for him is a bit of a steal and he could walk into a lot of top European sides. 85 games for PSG even playing 27 last season

Looks like a great signing.

With our injury record I suspect he’ll play a different position every game, and often multiple positions within 90 minutes!

Welcome Thilo! For his age and the fact he played 27 times last season for PSG, it seems a very good price.

I read that Treacle mainly used him as a Right Back.

No idea if that's true or not...

He's our first German International isn't he? I know we've had German players before, but I'm pretty convinced Hitzhambergerandcheesewithonions wasn't turning out for the national team when we got him. I could be wrong. Probably am.

PSG fans seem to be absolute delighted he's left them, but a scroll back into their player threads for him and it seems like he was initially very highly rated, then had a shocker or two in the CL and it broke him mentally.

Hopefully a change of scenery will do him good, he has the assets.

Didn't he get injured playing for them right before the start of the season, scuppering our entire plans for the year? Poor Avram

2 footed... 95% pass completion rate which is nice. Not sure what he's like in the tackle but time will tell.
Could be a steal at 10.1 or 13 or 15m :newthumb:
