They really are the gift that keeps on giving . They are completely oblivious the damage a club with way less potential than whufc . Has inflicted on them ie Chelsea. If they need any confirmation ask David dein .

Can't be bothered with reading more than a couple of posts. Typical spurs.

You have to read the OV in the right frame of mind. I was showing people in our office today and we were all roaring with laughter.
Thank you Spursy fans, you really are the gift that keeps on giving.

Apart from a couple of posters, the usually drivel from the OV.
To hear them talk, you'd think they've got no points this season as opposed to being unbeaten. I know every club has their "fans" that are totally deluded, but with this lot, it seems there's an exam on the subject they have to pass to be allowed to support them. They really are the gift that keeps giving.
Have to agree with Aboooooooooo. He can be a bit of a snide at times, but Kane is decent and the quicker he takes The England goal scoring record from Rooney the better.

Rooney seemed to rest on his impact as a young player (Euro 2004? He was electric) far too long. Kane seems more consistent. But he's Spurs so sod 'Im.

Disagree. Rooney was miles ahead of Kane in pretty much every department.vietnammer wrote: ↑Thu Sep 01, 2022 6:57 pm Rooney seemed to rest on his impact as a young player (Euro 2004? He was electric) far too long. Kane seems more consistent. But he's Spurs so sod 'Im.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United vs Tottenham Hotspur: match thread
Under the radar, perhaps, but watching those highlights laid bare the sheer industry of Antonio, Fornals, Soucek and Rice yesterday.
Fornals was the dynamo first half and could easily have been the hero with that shot he skied (not many expect a backheel assist!), but the others seemed to grow into the match.
Spurs were saved by the final whistle, moreso than we were relieved to go in only 0-1 down at half-time.
It was a great derby; really seemed the players knew they had to turn in a committed performance.

They are priceless those two … the video they did for the 3-3 was hilarious, their faces when Lanzini scored were brilliant!! Ecstasy to agony in seconds!!

Re: ⚽ West Ham United vs Tottenham Hotspur: match thread
Tbf there were about 5 posts in there that weren’t completely muggy. The rest just ridiculous considering the start they’ve had and they drawn away from home against the side who finished 7th last season. It’s a better point for them than us although I’m still pleased with it.Albie Beck wrote: ↑Thu Sep 01, 2022 8:41 pm - Notabadsquad: "Let's not sound like entitled ****wits."

I thought we were marginally the better side although could have easily have gone in 2-0 down at half time had Son’s control had been better. A much improved performance from us compared to reason weeks. Onwards and upwards!

Kane’s consistency puts him above Rooney for me overall but at their very best Rooney tops Kane. When he turned it on you could make a case for him being the best player in the world.vietnammer wrote: ↑Thu Sep 01, 2022 6:57 pm Rooney seemed to rest on his impact as a young player (Euro 2004? Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.
I'm not even convinced Emerson is a LB. People keep telling me he's a wing-back and not an orthodox LB, and it seemed (potentially) quite telling when Moyes replaced the injured Cresswell vs Spurs with Oggy rather than Emerson.
Personally, I don't actually know. It's just what others have said.

So it seems pretty logical to have bought Ogbonna on, no?
The fella can play both
