I’m quite blown away by this signing to be honest. He wasn’t on any of our radars at the start of the summer.

Should hopefully improve the performances of Rice and Soucek behind him whilst giving the opposition something to really think about.

It’ll be a huge step up from the French league but if you’re a starter for Brazil you’ve got to have something about you. Can’t wait to see him play.

I’m going to keep my expectations low, so I think he might end up being our greatest player ever.

Just about the biggest signing we could have possibly pulled off this window.

The exciting thing about him and Scamacca is that they are (just turned) 25 and 23 respectively. Years before they reach their peak and if successful in the Prem, their value will increase further, potentially to crazy numbers. Let's hope he gets settled in quickly and doesn't get injured!

He will showboat. Sometimes unnecessarily. Sometimes he may give the ball away whilst doing this.

If you can live with these flaws and just enjoy the entertainment then I think he'll be a fantastic signing.

The fans won't give a f***, they will love it - its Moyes that worries me with this - when was the last mad creative freestyle footballer he had? He isn't known for properly flair players and letting them be themselves and express, for that reason i am a little worried about this signing and how he will be used and if we get the very very best out of him.

the fact there are respected football people that are very surprised we have managed to sign him tells me everything.

Massive signing for us, its not just him signing but the fact there will be a lot of players across europe and the world looking at west ham now and thinking 'That is a team worth joining'

Looking forward to seeing him play..

So I’ve been on the official site and there’s no announcement.

Have you gone off a bit prematurely?

Next level signing, along with Scamacca this summer. Finally the Board are honouring 1 of the promises they made when they decided to move us.

Don't get it twisted, I will never forgive them for moving us, the damage is already done there and srill want them gone. However, these signings has been next level stuff we would expect from a Club making such statements.

And no, I still believe we could have made those signings still at a redeveloped Boleyn Ground.

That all being said.. come on then, let's ****ing have it!!!! :D :hammb:
