What?..... and besmirch the reputation of the future King's beloved and beatified mother?...... I think not.Johnny Byrne's Boots wrote: ↑Fri Jan 06, 2023 12:07 pm With what he's already published and what they know might come out in the future, you'd have to think if there was any doubt over his parentage either there'd have been a few carefully placed leaks by now or even outright threats from the royal family.

Re: The Monarchy
He's clearly damaged mentally. Not surprising really with the trauma of what happened to his mum & being brought up in the 'Firm'.
He's lucky in a way though that he can monetize his misery for huge rewards.

Re: The Monarchy
I just think he's going for broke, Stoney. He knows there's no way back & just making as much money as possible to look after his family, which is of course, understandable.Turns to Stone wrote: ↑Fri Jan 06, 2023 2:45 pm Interestingly, Dan. I actually really want to like both Megan and Harry. And have had a fair amount of sympathy with both of them over the last few years. But this last load of stuff is actually starting to wind even me up.
I've been fighting his corner when discussing them with mates and on here, but not anymore.
Friday morning on LBC, James O'Brien & then followed by Shelagh Fogarty, were continuing to defend all of these latest revelations.
Perhaps they're trying to give balance? They did sound a bit silly though.

Re: The Monarchy
The whole 25 Taliban issue has lost him a lot of sympathy. Crying about having a scrap with his brother then putting numbers to kills in public which is pretty much an unwritten rule.
You've made enough money Harry, go and enjoy your life with your wife and kids. However he'll probably have another interview/series/book with more revelations in the next 6 months.

Re: The Monarchy
SPARE !
I recommend this book, it's about a man
Trying to make as much cash as he can
From spilling the beans and dishing the dirt
With no regard for who it will hurt
It's everyone's fault but never his own
He's had a life of privilege but does nothing but moan
He shamelessly uses his mother's name
Ms Markles used him to find fortune and fame
He plays the race card when it comes to his wife
Has fled these shores for a more private life
Loves Oprah, Netflix and being on TV
He will talk to anyone for a large enough fee
I dont know about you but I'm sick of it all
I think it's time his father gave him a call
And gave him the news he was no longer Royal
We can't give titles to people who aren't loyal
Let's see how he does with an ordinary name
Just plain Harry Windsor, things won't be the same
Why can't he shut up and go live his life
Make my New Year and sod off with his wife.

Re: The Monarchy
Can a royal be unroyalled? Isn't it the jizz and chuff that confers royalty and there's nothing that can undo it?

Re: The Monarchy
Caught the last 30 min of the ITV interview. It was pretty troubling tbh.
He has now played his hand and it's as though he's playing alone. The Royal family wont be goaded into playing his game, so I'm not not sure where he can go from here?
But then he talks about reconciliation. That shipped has sailed my old son.

Re: The Monarchy
I'm past the point of being critical now.
I'm more concerned with his welfare. Mental health manifests in different ways.
Although he clearly has written about things that have made his life painful and has most probably been on the receiving end of poor behaviour from other royals, we all know he has gone about this the wrong way.
I hope a few years of reflection from both sides mean that some semblance of future life and reconciliation with his brother and dad can be achieved.
Sad to watch what has been a painful car crash.
