i love how diverse we as a nation are ,
and that includes the monarchy & religious types,
i dont think i would want it any other way .
im proud & fortunate to live in such a society
My take on it was that it was interesting to see some parts that had been done for hundreds of years etc., but expectedly a drawn out affair.
I'm neither pro or anti monarch. Although I'm largely against being born into such luxury, it's always been that way in life anyway. And despite the benefits they have, I can only imagine how difficult having a personal life can be when your every move is reported on. They bring in more for the economy than is given to them, so overall a positive in my book.
Getting an extra bank holiday out of it is always a winner for me too.

Would you have preferred West Ham fans not to sing the national anthem today considering it is a hymn? Even despite the overwhelming majority of fans partaking?

Can't decide whether to re-watch the Coronation or help Jen in the garden .....hard work or a nice bit of Pageantry ?
It is a lovely day outside ..........but I did miss Penny Mordaunt carrying that great big sword

Oh , what am I saying , if it's good enough for our young Captain , it's good enough for me .....' Up the 'Ra ' . *
* That was a joke , I love our new King , I think he's a lovely , sensitive man .......did I ever tell you about the time he spoke to me and did I ever mention our shared love of literature and that I come from a working class background ? Ok , I'm upper middle class now bordering on Aristocracy but there was a time...........oh , the horror , I can't bear being reminded of it.........yuk......all that Spam and Corned Beef , doesn't bear thinking about .

One observation from the concert... why on earth are they singing you'll never walk alone 24 hours after the scousers booed the national anthem?
It would've been more appropriate, had they replaced the words..
