Re: The Monarchy
He may be right, I'm not reading his book, but blaming the press for twisting his taliban quotes and making him and his family a target.
Sounds like a man who still cannot take responsibility for anything.

This.
With everything that's going on in the world and hearing this entitled, privileged, multi millionaire whining and moaning about pretty much everything and blaming everyone else boils my piss.

It is ill-advised to form judgments based on the behaviour of a talkshow audience, a group whose sympathies – stoked by hours of anticipation and the sunken cost of a day off work – would rally for any guest above the level of a pot plant. Still, after a week of intense media coverage in the US, Prince Harry stepping out before a studio audience on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night was the first sight we had of him interacting with something approximating the American public.
yet again, a public appearance on tv in front of millions of Americans, for which he was no doubt well compensated. and again pushing his book which should bring in more money for both the publisher and/or him.
I reiterate, for a couple who fled the coop for less publicity so that they could lead their lives like "normal people" he at least, is making more public appearances than he ever did as a member of the Royal Family (if memory serves).
does he feel a need for more money, more in the public eye, a need to out his family in the smallest of things that happened, because they've dumped him and cut back his links to "Royalty ?"
he's doing a great job of keeping his private life private imvho.

Re: The Monarchy
I was in Waterstones today and saw someone asking for Harry's book.
The assistant said: "Do you want the PDF file?"
The woman replied "no, that's his uncle".

He is one ****ed up geezer.
You wonder whether his missus is one of those women who think they can fix men. The type that are attracted to broken souls.

Re: The Monarchy
Some commentator said something that stuck in my mind, he seems to have become very 'American' (and I agreed - from my point of view) in his outlook or is at least seemingly playing to that audience in a big way.
Like the time he was tossed into the dog bowl by big bro. The first thing in his mind was 'see the therapist', not get down the pub and sink a couple to stew over the incident or get some mates together and beat down to big bros for a face off. No, see a bloody therapist - for what reason I'm still not sure, to sit and moan about having a fight with his brother? Strange man indeed.

Re: The Monarchy
Every little titbit I've come across seems to me like the book is just a bunch of Dear Deirdre letters. Going by the sales figures as well people are lapping it up. Probably being conned at the same time. Not every book needs to be enlightening but I'm beginning to think I might lose a fair few brain cells if I jumped on board.
Is there actually anything in it of some substance?
Also, his latest take "I had enough for 2 books, but my family would never forgive me" - I'm just waiting for him to roll out some animals.

Re: The Monarchy
One of the reasons I came off Facebook was because every now and then someone would come up with a moan about someone or something mysterious.
"That's the last time I help them out", for example.
Thdn other people would start saying, "what's wrong babe?", thus giving them the attention they desire.
They would drag this out by saying, " no I can't name names", or just keep adding to the story.
It did my head in to read the self indulgent, attention seeking twats.
The last line from Harry is just that.

Don't think that the British being such dog lovers, would ever forgive him if he takes a dig at the corgi's.djclipz wrote: ↑Sat Jan 14, 2023 7:35 am Every little titbit I've come across seems to me like the book is just a bunch of Dear Deirdre letters. Re: The Monarchy
Supposedly keeping out of the public eye is quite profitable it seems...
