I don't want to sound too disrespectful by joking while we are in mourning but King Charles isn't going to struggle to get a cup final ticket.
Toomy Cooper met the Queen:
“Do you mind if I ask you a personal question?” Tommy asked.
“No, ………” replied the Queen, “…but I might not be able to give you a full answer.”
“Do you like football?” asked Tommy.
“Well not really” said the Queen.’
“In that case, …” said Tommy, “….do you mind if I have your Cup Final Tickets?'”

Absolutely - that's a fantastic pub crawl. Delbs - what went wrong?
The pub spacing at the start in Bermondsey mate, that and the crap weather. We've had better ones on the more civilised side of the river round Wapping and ending up in St Katherines Dock/Tower Hill......

Before anyone goes down the 'ooh-look-Dave-the socialist-goes-to-Waitrose' route - yes, I do for meat and fish and because I only get it when it's reduced (see above) it's more often than not less expensive as well as better quality than other Plaices).
Get to check-out and what was marked up as £9 should have come down to £7.20. It didn't. I asked why. The lady on check-out asked the manager. She said it's out of respect to the queen. Me: What? Her: We're not doing any promotions this week as a mark of respect. Me: How is that respectful to the Queen? Her: We're not doing any promotions this week. And that was that - no explanation of how that constituted respect, and how could there be? Just ridiculous.
Of course it's a sign of respect.
(and nothing whatsoever to do with the money they'll be losing when closed next Monday.)
Just went to Waitrose* - Fish Friday - 20% off. Some breaded haddock (we know how to live ) was already 20% off so I thought I'd have some of that.

So Waitrose are making another couple of quid profit at my expense out of somer indefinable, impossible-to-explai-or-justify mark of 'respect' to the queen. I'm sure she'd be delighted.
Fake socialist gets mugged at the fish counter!

Well Sainsbury is showing its respect to the Queen by having its first Christmas products up on display this week.
You watched that live stream yet BILR? seems very popular

I thought you said you were getting haddock ?
Nicely done Hummer. As an aside I mentioned this on my old school mates WhatsApp group and a pal said I should have told the manager "what's that got to do with the price of fish"?

Ah OK bud. That's a favourite crawl of mine. Wouldn't have thought a bit of weather would have been a problem Delbs - just a great excuse to hang around the Market Porter, Prospect, Grapes or any of the other great boozers on that stroll.

I don't think you should have bought it if it was bloody, not at that price.. I'd have expected it to at least be be de-boned and washed.
