as someone posted earlier, this is EXACTLY like watching West Ham...

Kane on a break, he was NEVER going to pass the ball, we had Foden and either Sterling or Saka, they didn't show the options in the middle again, versus ONE Italian defender. what does he do...he was only going to shoot, his head was completely down and was not going to see his option...

Saka has most of the tools to be a top class wing back and has played there before but it’s not going to happen two games before the WC

Lovely bit of hold up play from Scamacca there, needs players running ahead of him in those positions. I feel like i’m just repeating things I said about Haller now

Absolutely.

Him and Foden seem to be able to make things happen.

This 3 at the back with WBs is certainly about as entertaining and attacking as ours

Oof, 1-0. Great finish.

Southgate isn't the one.

He doesn't turn me on.

And football isn't coming home ever again.

Southgate doesn’t know his best system or starters, can’t set up a team to attack effectively and can’t particularly set up a team to defend well but other than that I think England are in for a great World Cup

If you think this is boring, what will the next Nations League games be like against Finland and Kazakhstan?

and just like West Ham, England come to life after going a goal down..

some first touch by Raspadori and then a brilliant finish.

the US lost 2-0 to Japan so maybe our hopes of getting out of our group have taken an uplift ?
