sometimes with sound off, with some music on..

Didn't get to watch the Argentina game so don't know who the commentator was

But so far the BBC have had Dublin, Jenus and keown.

ITV have had Harton and McCoist

For me that means ITV are so far the best by some distance. Plus they also have Laura Woods.

Amazon have the right idea. You can turn commentators off and just have the stadium mic feed on their sports coverage (at least the football and Rugby anyway).

Is a gamechanger. Clive Tyledesly last night felt like it was comedy sketch mocking commentators, absolutely horrendous.

Souness and Keane nearly came to handbags at half time which was mildly amusing.

I’m not sure if this warranted another thread but has anyone checked out social media pages at the moment regarding this tournament. It’s like a propaganda war zone. Virtually every thread or article with chat is inundated with ‘people’ praising the stadium, Qatar, the organisers etc and damning the falsehoods and lies spread by the west and its media. Very strange.

Those will be bots GP.

Meanwhile the BBC are going into full politics mode at HT during the France Australia game bemoaning Qatar’s carbon footprint because it build a few new stadiums.

The incessant sanctimony surrounding every ****ing element of this World Cup is going to end up ruining it for me - I’m almost there already.

What's the split in games between the BBC and ITV?

Seems like ITV are showing the majority?

Both have an even split of games, 24 group games each then half of each knock out stage.
BBC seem to have weighted their picks towards the final round of group fixtures.

ITV get first pick on last 16 and QF games.
BBC get first pick on SF.
Both will show the final.
