To decide if a player will score, or not, focus not on the taker, or the antics of the keeper moving across his line, but focus purely on the taker's standing leg at the point of impact, that will tell you in which direction the ball will travel. Ooh and one other thing, did you know that right footed players are more reliable from the spot than left footed players? There used to be a GK, called Jimmy Rimner , who still holds the for most penalties saved and that was his technique
