Wonder what he thought of the Welsh performance.

Is there history with Klinsmann and Queiroz? Klinsmann proper slagged him off.

But before the first game I kept hearing how they had two world class players :?
Unfortunately the pundit never elaborated on who they were so I haven't got a clue.

Didn't England lose their last match against Northern Ireland just a few years back?

And our last four competitive matches against Rep Ireland have been three draws and a loss!
Whereas Scotland have held us to two draws in the last two meetings.

They can’t carry Bale and Ramsey any longer, hoping for the increasingly rare moments of magic…

Aaron Ramsey in the last few games and when I've seen him in Ligue Un, looks absolutely finished for some reason, he is 31 but maybe the injuries have accelerated it, looks done.

Have to say didn't care about the result, but the 1st goal was a cracker  and from the little I saw Iran fully deserved the win.

I don't see how a world cup qualifier from 17 years ago is relevant to now, how many players from either team are still playing?
Oh and England had already beaten them 4-0 earlier the same year and had already qualified so probably didn't care.

Time for the likes of Bale and Ramsey to retire from international football and bring on the kids.

Iran thoroughly deserved that. You just know that Wales will still be massively up for England though and wouldn't in the slightest be surprised if they held us to a draw.
