Will the Norwich of the tournament (Japan), regular visitors to the party, but don't normally stay long, do it against over the Carlisle of international football, both places have caused bother North of the border?

Costa Rica have blown this group wide open now though. Japan looked in a great position after besting Germany, now theyll need something vs Spain.

No, Germany now can't be knocked out today. This is a good result for them.
(For example, Germany lose to Spain but beat Costa Rica, three teams finish on 3 points and it goes on GD.)

Germany could lose toniht and still go through

Feel sorry for Japan there. Costa Rica made no effort to win that game and yet somehow they have.
