Aguerd so composed, even during the second goal celebration he’s calmly listening to his manager. He’ll be under more pressure in the PL but looks like we have quite a player on our hands.

At this rate Aguerd is in danger of playing himself into the team of the tournament XI

Why can't England play some of the close control and sharp interplay that Morocco players achieved today? There were always players ready to receive a quick pass from one of their own who are being pressed or crowded out. Kept the attack going forward instead of a stutter and backward/sideways pass.

Sack Martinez today and maybe Belgium will actually get out of this group.

This Belgium team are done, they are too old now. The fact Hazard still starts for them plus the two old Tottenham CBs just shows they are hanging on to a past it generation. They missed their chance at the last 2/3 tournaments.

Was it that, or was it because Moyes had never heard of him?

De Bruyne says exactly that in a interview with the most cited newspaper on this forum yesterday.

Aguerd looks a real decent buy. Was really impressed with Morocco today.

To be clear: it's the belgians with Marroccan origine who did that.Hammer Matty wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 9:11 pm  Judging by some reports it looks like todays result was well received back in Brussels
Was always going to happen, win or lose. Always strange to see that all those people who were born and raised here are supporting Marocco.
Sometimes without even going to Marocco once in their life....

Re: Match 26 ~ Group F Belgium v Canada ~ .Match thread
Wilmots was manager back then, and got the sack.
Nevertheless, I won't mind if we go out. Then Martinez will get the sack surely.
