Just got in and catching up. What a save from Neuer early on.

Kehrer doing Kehrer things. Some good stuff followed by brain farts.

could be he's being targeted, but imvho, Dani Olmo is a MUCH better LW than Ferran is a RW.

that's where I would focus my play were I the Spain manager....could also be a bit of both....

First game I've watched that I find exciting (I have missed quite a few). I want Spain to win - I have a soft spot for them. Germany could sneak it though... they're having some success with that pressing, and Spains high line and insistence on being overly intricate whilst playing out from the back could let them down at some point. It almost has on a couple of occasions already.

I hope Moyes is taking notes on the value of the high press ….both side’s showing how effective it is when done properly.

We certainly need to work on a high press for the remainder of our season

Personally I'd be targeting Kehrer early in the second half... One more mistimed lunge and Germany go down to 10 men.

Tbf to Kehrer, Germany playing a high line is not his fault. He hasn’t chosen their tactics (Hansi Flick) and he’s not the one calling the line (Rüdiger).

Big time. We’ve been terrible at it recently.

He’s not our answer at right back 🤦‍♂️
Don't think Thilo has had a bad half tbh.
This Spain team is good and massively dominating.
Struggling against Spain doesn't mean not good enough for whu.

Don’t think anyone said he’s playing badly, only that Spain had seemed to be targeting his side. He’s been excellent in the second half thus far. He had a mix of good and fair in the first.

Spain goal just like a few scored against us this season …..Kehrer leaving the space for his man to take his time with the cross and pick out the man in the middle…..Kehrer just not tight enough

Nearly a second got Spain as they exploit the space down Spain’s left the Kehrer is giving them
