I'm all for players being asked tough questions, surely the press officer should do their job here and step in. Adams handles that well and credit to him

Yeah the reporter is clearly a prick. No need for it really. The young lad handles it really well, but the press officer should have stepped in.

Yes and no. I think Azmoun is better than any striker the US have and Taremi is dangerous as well. The US is probably stronger in the midfield, but that may not matter as Iran can sit back a bit and pack the midfield area anyway, and have two players who are more clinical than anyone in the US lineup who could hit us on the break.

I’m very worried. No idea why Josh Sargent is playing. If the US tries to lump balls up to him again I’ll be baffled but unsurprised. Hopefully he scores now

Same as every US game in this cup. Causing all kinds of problems to opponent. But not scoring when other side is on the ropes. Iran’s counter when they get the ball is dangerous

We’re playing so well… apart from Pulisic. He’s off it a bit which is a problem because he’s the main scoring “threat”.
