WC of WH Players: Round 2 Group B
Please vote for whichever player you like best, using the poll, which will be added shortly. They don't have to be the best at football, just your favourite, the player you have good memories of etc. The thread can also be a good place to discuss the players.
Group A is still neck and neck with about an hour and a half to go, by the way.
Form guide: As for this one, Bonds won his first group with 94% of the vote, while Joe Cole took the very first group with a strong 75% against Sherringham and Vaz Te.Payet also saw off Dawson and Brady with a hefty 68% of his vote. Boyce had a tougher qualification, but ended up too good for Bilic.
DIMITRI PAYET
RONNIE BOYCE
JOE COLE
BILLY BONDS

After yesterday’s neck and neck battle that went to wire, I would rather expect the winner here to canter up by a distance.

In the words of Basil Fawlty, Billy Bonds is going to give the other 3: “a damn good thrashing”.

No that’s fair enough and Bonzo hasn’t won yet.
Poll closes tomorrow at 0954.

Early indications would suggest a landslide victory for the one they’re all going to have to beat.WestHamLyallStyle wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 12:00 pm No that’s fair enough and Bonzo hasn’t won yet.

After yesterday’s stressful decision making process this one was an absolute piece of piss.

It shows you the regard BB is held in; he’s up against three very talented players and they’re not in the picture.
Billy Bonds is West Ham.

Many mates at school ( none who supported WHU ) were jealous that Billy Bonds played for us
I had the honour to watch him live many times … I remain grateful

Re: WC of WH Players: Round 2 Group B
Forgot to vote on this... but it wouldn't have changed anything. I'd have voted Payet. Billy Bonds is obviously highly regarded but I only know him by reputation, and not from actually watching him play. I think it's only fair that I vote for a player who I have fond memories of and actually watched play.
